Competition Purifying plant Andorra (Second Prize)

The project is a competition for the realization of a treatment plant located near the Spanish-Andorran border in the parish of Sant Julia de Loria.

It has a total area of 14,711 m² divided into different elements:

The main objective of this project is to create a facility capable enough to absorb all the water cleaning that can receive this collector.

The project has studied different aspects:

- Firstly functionality.
- The ease of construction.
- Ease of maintenance and operation.
- The minimum impact on the river both during construction and operation.
- And the most positive impact on the landscape.

In the construction phase, we find different elements that form the set of the filter:

- The building of pretreatment with an area of 876.30 m².
- A biological reactor with an area of 4100m ².
- Two decanters with an area of 2,340.42 m².
- The sludge treatment building with an area of 418.37 m².
- And the control building, covering an area of 395.40 m².

At the level of hydraulic equipment installations are necessary for the proper functioning of the treatment plant.

And storm drainage, lighting, etc ...

And everything always in the best integration and environmental conservation.
