Single family attached home at Sant Ermengol

This project refers to the set consisting of two semi-detached houses, of about 850 m2 on four levels each.

The two houses are articulated by a shared semi-exterior lobby on the ground floor. The orientation of these two volumes is designed so that both can enjoy the same hours of sunshine and at the same time ensure the greatest entry of natural light throughout the day.

The lower part of the house is intended for the parking, cellar and the facilities room, since it is the least comfortable area due to low temperatures.

In the other three levels, the entire functional program of the house is distributed around a central nucleus and a scale that connects the two main levels.

The two buildings are arranged on the ground with the intention of achieving a certain privacy, opening onto the rear facade through gardens, visually protected by vegetation.
