Single family attached home at Sant Ermengol

This project refers to the set of two semi- attached houses of 832 m2 each.

This building consists of 4 levels: basement of 302 m2, ground floor of 192 m2, 1st floor of 167 m2 and floor penthouse of 171 m2.

The dwellings are articulated by a community hall.
We have studied how to get the two houses could enjoy the same sunshine.

At the bottom of the basement are intended for parking, cellar, boiler room.

In the other three levels are developed housing, a square of 9.25 x 9.25 m outdoors.
With the core of vertical communication, we will leave the plant in two parts:

A road side with irrigation was projected as a service area and private agencies (kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, ...).

And the other part is designed as a living area on 3 levels, poured outside, enjoying the views and sun exposure.

The two buildings are arranged on the ground with a clear mission to promote the alignment that describes the existing road way.

The floor level has risen 2.1 m from the natural ground elevation to achieve a certain degree of privacy to the gardens on the streets in this level.

The community hall has turned into an outdoor space for which it inflects the two volumes.

Each home is designed as an open stone parallelepiped faces the sun.
